Colorful 6-Armed Pineapple Chandelier In The Style of Maison Jansen, 1970s
About the Item
This extravagant chandelier has a rather antique look and feel about it and is lacquered in the most fascinating green and brown tones - almost as if it were made from real leaves.
Beautifully handcrafted from brass around a large ceramic pineapple, this chandelier illuminates the room with six E14 light bulbs on as many arms.
The chandelier is well proportioned and suspended by a chain from a gilt ceiling rose. Overall in good condition, this impressive light fixture is most reminiscent of the golden pineapple chandeliers "Lustre Ananas Doré" made by the great French design houses, such as Maison Jansen.
We are sure this exceptional piece of decorative lighting will work very well in most settings, from funky dining rooms to plant-filled sun rooms!
