Rare inlaid 'chunky glass' light fixture from the early 1900s.
This handcrafted, chunky stained glass light fixture is the perfect blend of artistry and functionality. With early 20th century lighting being one of our specialities we are always looking to find unique fixtures that we have never seen before and this stylish specimen from circa 1920/30 perfectly fits that bill. What makes this hand-crafted light fixture extra special are ofcourse the groups of inlaid and large chunks of transparent glass. They can be best seen in image 4, because these organical and almost alien looking groups are potruding from the rest of this unique and striking shade. These potruding groups of transparent glass combined with the porcelain-like inlays of the rest of the shade paint a picture that will never fail to impress. And on top of that this unique pendant also has an upper rim with arc-design inlaid pieces of red glass. From rustic to modern interiors, this chunky stained glass seamlessly fits any decor. Hang it above your dining table, in the foyer/hallway or even your bedroom. No matter where you decide to use it, this superb quality crafted and good condition light brings class and style in your home like no modern light fixture ever could.
Mind you, this rare pendant is rewired to the highest standard for safe and immediate usage in the USA as well and it will easily take two of your regular bulbs of up to 100 watts. The stylish, blackened brass canopy too is great looking and in mint condition and it will easily cover any regular size junction box. Finally, thanks to the metal hook inside this height adjustable canopy, safely mounting this rare light tight to your ceiling will take no more than a few minutes.
