About the Item
This stunning early 20th century French hand carved mahogany wood formal chandelier is exceptionally designed with six curved arms embellished with a carved leaf motif. Each arm holds a bulbous bloom supporting a tall cream color candle sleeve with 15 watt candle bulbs. The arms jut out from a banded ring of roses that dominates & enhances the beauty of this rare light source. There is a central solid wood support that is exquisitely decorated with a draped freeze & tassel design. This wonderful chandelier is beautifully festooned with carved rope decorations complimenting its grand appearance. This rare find is recently rewired & is in perfect working order & is a special previously hidden treasure !
