About the Item
A French rectangular shaped forged iron eight-light chandelier. This French mid-20th century chandelier features two horizontal beams with scrolled ends, each of which support four upward pointing spears mounted along the two longer sides of the chandelier that curve down and outward with ruffled metal bobeches and painted candle sleeves. The underside of this chandelier is made up of four curved metal bracket-shaped pieces which connect to a lower metal bar. The lower bar has four hanging o-rings. This chandelier is of a black color with some rust. It is hung from the corners of the chandelier bars by four chains connecting to the canopy. This wonderfully unique French chandelier would look perfect hanging above an island in a kitchen or hung above a dining table. This chandelier has been rewired for the US and comes with a complimentary 3-foot chain and canopy painted to match.
