Gio Ponti for Fontana Arte Suspension Pendant Lamp

About the Item

Gio Ponti pendant lamp for Fontana Arte originally designed in the 1930s is an iconic design. This lamp was produced in Italy during the late 1980s and features varying sizes of horizontal glass discs that create a sphere. The center of the piece houses the light bulbs in a cylindrical glass casing. Chrome accents the cap, top and bottom of the light fixture as well as chrome rods that surround the central glass tubing. The hanging mechanism is a chrome round plate mount, connected to the lamp with a strong wire. Dimensions 20.75" diameter x 20.75" height Condition Excellent vintage condition; cleaned, polished and rewired.
