Goldkant Cocoon Pendant Lamp by Friedel Wauer, Germany, 1960s
About the Item
Losange shaped cocoon lamp designed by Friedel Wauer for Goldkant Leuchten, Germany. The lamp is made of a unique polymer sprayed on to a metal frame, to give a cocoon effect.
Measures: diameter approx. 15.75" in. (40 cm), body height approx. 7.9" in. (20 cm) , total height incl. cable approx. 118" in. (300 cm).
Lighting: takes one large Edison E26/E27 base screw bulb.
Wattage: we recommend up to 60w per bulb. Works on 220v as well as 110v.
Condition: very good vintage condition, beautifully aged, no damage.
Wiring: The lamp has been tested with US American light bulbs under 120V and they work flawlessly, no tools or rewiring required. All our goods are originally wired for 220V. Delivery without bulbs.
Shipping: in order to ensure safe transport, the lamp will be dismantled and carefully packed. Assembly required. We recommend expedited shipping, only.
