Rare Art Deco Böhlmarks chandelier from the 1930-1940s, designed by Harald Notini. Ribbed elm wood centerpiece and stem decoration, with three cast brass arms, each with an ivory-colored blown glass diffuser. Nice original condition with a light patina on the brass. Three E27 sockets with new wiring. Measures: Height 74cm (29″), Body Height 29cm (11.5″), Diameter 58cm (23″), Glass Diameter 23cm (9″), Canopy 9.5cm (3.75″)

This striking four arm chandelier was designed by Harald Notini and produced by Arvid Böhlmarks Lampfabrik in Sweden, circa 1927. This particular model numbered 6316 is a great example of the unique Swedish Grace style of this period. The striking design consists of four marbled glass shades with a slightly undulating, scalloped rim. The shades are attached to brass holders with a serrated shape, connected to the centre by brass arms in a beautiful curved shape. The sphere shaped centre of the fixture with serrated decorative details throughout, with a separate hanging sphere attached to the lowest part of the lamp. This hanging sphere can be easily removed if desired. The fixture is entirely executed in nickel plated brass which has developed a beautiful and natural patina over time.
