Italian 19th Century Giltwood, Patinated Wood, Iron And Crystal Chandelier

About the Item

A most elegant and large scaled Italian early 19th century Giltwood, patinated wood, Iron and Crystal chandelier. The three tier twenty five arm chandelier is centered by a stunning faceted crystal ball surrounded by prism shaped cut crystal pendants. The lower level of 'S' scrolled iron arms are above the half rounded patinated off white and gilt foliate decorated giltwood bottom. The three levels of the electrified 'S' scrolled arms are all decorated by intricately intertwined beaded garlands. The arms also are joined by swaging beaded garlands all leading to the top crown. The top crown holds the tapered fluted Giltwood central fut and displays additional 'S' scrolled iron arms with hanging garlands draping to the top level.
