Italian Neoclassical Modernist Tri-Arm Chandelier
About the Item
Elegant and well balanced late 40's rendition of a classical form. All brass has been hand polished. The three scrolled arms are aluminum enameled persimmon, as original but refreshed. Original ceiling cap. Original brass suspension rod can be shortened (or lengthened) by request.
Each of the three arms has one socket for a single screw-cap candle bulb.......up to 60 watts per bulb.
Use with or without shades. Shown with vintage hand painted parchment shades. Unbelievably gorgeous. Seems to be directly influenced by designs of Pietro Chiesa.
