Large Vintage Italian Acrylic Dome Pendant, 1970s
About the Item
Imposing pendant lamp with plastic shade. Probably of Italian origin.
This design convinces by combining classic elements with new materials. The most striking detail is the small "chandelier" inside, which peeps out slightly below the hemispherical shade. The 6 sockets are arranged in curved arms radially around a central cylinder. This ornamental element is opposed by the plain shade made of plastic, which refracts the light of the bulbs. The central cylinder visually emerges as a continuous element from the interior above the shade.
The lamp is in very good condition with traces of use. The shade lies slight cracks in the material.
