Mid-Century German Minimalist Twin Pendant by Bünte & Remmler, 1960s

About the Item

Rare twin pendant lamp by Bünte & Remmler (Bur). A minimalist design. The luminaires consist of two cylinders: a long, narrow cylinder in chrome, that wears another wider cylinder as a black umbrella. The most distinctive detail of these Bur designs is the fine perforation of these umbrellas. It has a rectangular long holder, that breaks the escaping light and dissolves the shape of the screen when switched on. Inside, perforation is stored with a kind of parchment that serves as a diffuser. The two lights are mounted on a white aluminum rail. Up to 250V (Europe/UK Standard).The wiring of this item may be original and might need replacement, if not specified otherwise.
