About the Item

A beautiful and delicate Finnish mid-century ceiling lamp model ER 86/3 by Itsu, one of the leading lighting manufacturers in Finland. The lamp features three lightbases with hand painted opaline glass shades. Simplistic yet very elegant. It is stamped "Itsu", the manufacturer. The overall condition is good. Itsu was one of the leading light fixture manufacturing companies and a daughter company of Idman. Along with companies like Taito Oy, Idman and Orno they defined what Finnish design lamps would become. Itsu made high quality lamps and produced lamps for major projects, including some of Alvar Aalto's projects like the Aalto University.
