About the Item
This refined and large scale modernist tronchi chandelier was realized in Murano, Italy- the island off the coast of Venice renowned for centuries for its superlative glass production. It features seven tiers of Murano tronchi crystals- one of the most iconic forms in Venetian glass history suspended from a chrome frame that is largely concealed by the translucent glass crystals. With its beautiful quality of craftsmanship, clean modernist lines, and monochromatic color palate, this piece would be a winning addition to any style of interior from classic Mid Century Modern to contemporary. It has been newly rewired to American standards and is in excellent vintage condition. The height can be adjusted to suit. The chandelier accommodates twenty two Edison based bulbs offering up to 2200 watts of light.
