Modernist "Helios" Chandelier in Brass with Handblown Murano Smoked Glass Shades
About the Item
Exclusive to High Style Deco, this stunning modernist chandelier was handblown in Murano, Italy- the island off the coast of Venice renowned for centuries for its superlative glass production. This beautiful fixture offers twelve lustrous polished brass spokes emanating from a spherical body in the same material. The spokes culminate in organic amorphic undulating cylindrical handblown Murano shades in a light smoked hue. With its clean modernist lines and beautiful attention to detail, this chandelier would be a winning addition to any style of interior from classic Mid Century Modern to contemporary. It has been newly rewired to American standards and is in excellent condition. The height can be adjusted to suit. The chandelier accommodates 12 Edison based bulbs offering up to 120 watts of light. The sockets are LED compatible and fully dimmable.
