The explosion proof globes have always been a favourite of mine and I offer a number of different examples with a 5 inch diameter. But I have never seen an explosion proof fixture with a thick glass 8 inch diameter. The impressive scale of this unique Industrial lamp gives it a striking appearance. The heavy glass screws into a two-piece top of brass and cast iron. The globe has the feel of small fish bowl. This is a nice dramatic Industrial pendant. This Classic design is an Industrial icon and original examples are very difficult to find. If you are doing a restaurant, hotel or just 3 matching lamps over a kitchen island, good luck trying to find a matching set. We have received many requests over the years for collections of this lamp. The good news is Early Electrics Design Studio is now manufacturing and offering these fixtures. They hang as a pendant or flush mount. We will finish the drop to your specs.
