About the Item
Large twelve-flame transparent blown glass Murano chandelier, a product of late 18th-century Venetian art. The entire apparatus is centrally supported by a smooth column shaft reproducing tortile motif, equipped with a metal core. Decorated with double order of alternating leaves and flowers, similarly present in the upper segment of the column, and hanging. A larger pendant serves as the end of the lower section. Upper terminal replaced, restoration of one plate, small chipping.
