One of Three Chandeliers Pendant Lights by Austrolux, Chrome Glass, Austria 1960

About the Item

One of three Austrian light fixtures by Austrolux, Vienna, manufactured in midcentury, circa 1970 (late 1960s or early 1970s). The lights are made of a silver painted metal frame which holds triangular shaped chromed or nickeled elements and large geometric Brutalist style glass blocks similar to the products of J.T. Kalmar. Each fixture has six E14 candelabra screw base bulbs horizontally directed and one medium or standard screw base bulb E26/E27 downwards directed in the center. It is possible to install this fixture in all countries (US, UK, Europe, Asia, Canada,) although it may be necessary to purchase different light bulbs suitable to local electricity. It also can be used with a dimmer. The height of the body without rod is 8.3 inch / 21 cm and incl. rod 20.5 inch / 52 cm. The price is per lamp. They are sold individually, as pair or as set of three lamps. Shipping cost depends on number of ordered items.
