About the Item
Rare and early ceiling light designed by Paavo Tynell in the late 20's for the Finnish parliament and placed there in 1929. The light is made with long brass leafs putting upon each other. The light has a incredible electrical system on the top of it to illuminate the ceiling. Documentation available on demand. Paavo Tynell is one of the most influencial designer of his time along side Alvar Aalto, Josef Frank and Axel Einar Hjorth in Sweden. This light is one of the first light ever designed and produced by Tynell. A true Art deco master piece.
