Pair of Fortuny Attributed Samarkanda Glass Lamp Shades
About the Item
Pair of iconic art nouveau or decorative arts style Samarkanda hand-crafted glass pendant lamp shades attributed to Fortuny Venice, Italy. Beautifully crafted with delicate gilt designs on the swirled glass form. The pendants have a faux rope bronzed metal trim that suspends the shades with fine decorative rope having amber colored beads. The gilt has an intentionally aged, distressed and faded patina to mimic age. From the Bel Air estate of Raquel Welch (American 1940-2023) on Beverly Glen Circle. Sold as a pair. Glass shade measures 9.75 inches high without rope.
