Pair Of Maria Teresa Chandeliers With Twelve Lights 1950s pair of Italian crystal suspensions with twelve curved arms arranged in two rows and a central stem composed of spherical crystal elements. Made in Italy in the mid-20th century, this pair of clear crystal chandeliers isperfectly functional, fully re-elected. The Maria Theresa-style crystal chandelier model refers to the Empress of Austria who ruled from 1740 to 1780 and inspired a chandelier that has become a timeless lighting classic and is named after her. Designed in the first half of the 18th century in honor of the Empress, this chandelier quickly became the star of Europe's most opulent halls. These antique 1950s chandeliers have an iron core completely covered with crystals and decorated with festoons, drops, rosettes and almond pendants. The versatility of these maria Theresa chandeliers from the mid-20th century, makes them ideal for illuminating any environment, from ancient to contemporary. These chandeliers are shipped from Italy.
