Scandinavian Mid-Century Modern Molded Glass & Chrome Pendant

About the Item

This refined and understated pendant was realized in Sweden, circa 1960. It offers a cylindrical body in molded highly textural glass with an abundance of protuberant geometric forms in relief on the surface. The fixture connects to the ceiling via a cylindrical rod and domed canopy, both in chrome. With its austere Silhouette and beautiful construction, this piece embodies the sophisticated aesthetic of Scandinavian Mid-Century Modern design at its finest. It is as versatile as it is aesthetically compelling, blending perfectly with any style of interior from Classic Mid-Century Modern to contemporary. It has been newly rewired to American standards and is in excellent condition. The height can be adjusted to suit. Sweden, circa 1960 Dimensions: 34" x 6.75" Diameter.
