About the Item
"Colani" ufo pendant lamp.
Striking lamp from the 1970s in a shape and color characteristic for the time. An impressive object and a functional light source at the same time. The special feature of this version is the diffuser grid in front of the openings that are used instead of the acrylic elements. Just like the acrylic disks, the ribs of the scale of the contour of the luminaire form and completed the shape. In addition to protection against glare, the grid has another effect and throws an impressive pattern into the room. The lamp releases functional light on the table surface through the lower opening. The lamp is in very good condition and has hardly any signs of wear.
Design: Luigi Colani is attributed, but is controversial in design circles have official proof of authenticity such as vintage catalogs, designer records, or other literature sources for any authenticity issues arising from misattribution, Up to 250V (Europe/UK Standard). The wiring of this item may be original and might need replacement, if not specified otherwise.
