Large size (20.7 inches) and timeless, hand carved, antique alabaster pendant light. Thanks to its 'calm' and timeless Art Deco design this alabaster chandelier will look great in all kinds of interiors. It is in good condition and the beautifully spread, thunderstroke-like black veins contrast even more when the light is switched on. Also, because the dark veins then turn pitch black against an even whiter background and that contrast truly is amazing to look at. As you can see in our images, there also are a number of white, near translucent veins and patches that make this creation-of-mother-nature-pendant even more fascinating. After our minor restauration of two hairlines this perfectly balanced shade is so structurally strong that it actually rings like a bell when you strike it. The stunning and perfectly symmetrical, hand carved rosette at the bottom of this shade is like 'the icing underneath the cake' of this large and quality carved alabaster chandelier. Have you also noticed the stylish and mint condition, patinated brass canopy of this large alabaster pendant? Thanks to the hook inside that canopy, safely mounting this chandelier tight to your ceiling can be done in just a few minutes. Even if we shot a hundred more photos, you still would not be able to see the true allure of this piece.
