About the Item

A stunning and most impressive Tuscan 18th century Giltwood, Glass and Crystal chandelier. This wonderful twelve arm chandelier is centered at the bottom by an elegant solid Crystal ball pendant below a Gilt Glass dome accented with prism shaped Crystal prisms. The Crystal dome conceals and houses the connections for the twelve scrolled Crystal arms, which are elegantly joined by swaging Glass garlands and divided into three levels. The each of twelve arms are decorated with elongated oval shaped cuts leading to the Crystal candle cups and saucer with hanging water drop Crystals. Above is the Giltwood central fut with a smooth satin and burnished finish above a spiral reeded design and richly carved acanthus leaves. Wonderful proportions and attention to detail throughout.
