Ultra Rare Large Bauhaus Chandelier, 1930s
About the Item
This unique nickel plated Bauhaus chandelier was executed by IAS in 1930s in Czechoslovakia. It is in a very good condition and has two separate circuits - upper with four and lower with three bulbs. It was carefully cleaned, polished and rewired. The heat from the bulbs caused some losses on original ivory paint but they could not be seen when the chandelier is hanging and the milk glass shade is on. When only the upper circuit is switched on it creates amazing lights on the glass shade which are always unique according to the type of used bulbs. You can see some of them on photos.
