Vintage Pair of Venetian Murano Pendant Lights Mouthblown Glass into Iron Frames
About the Item
Wonderful, practical size and great condition pair of Venetian, art glass pendants.
If you are looking for a rare and stylish pair of Murano fixtures to grace your home then these handmade vintage ones could be perfect. With early 20th century lighting as one of our specialities we were over the moon to find this rare pair and that we were given the opportunity to purchase them. Over the years we have sold several unique Venetian pendants, but finding an original pair is something truly special. What made this 'find' extra special is that this pair with the white milky glass shades is almost in mint condition. Only one small corner / chip of one of the upper glass shades needed to be glued back (which we did, see image 19), but otherwise the mouthblown glass is in superb condition. These works of beauty also come with bronzed metal shackles and canopies and they too are in very good condition still. The forged frames in which these glass shades were blown are hand-painted with a golden color and their patina too makes them look perfectly vintage. Both on and off, these pendants are an absolute joy to look at and that ofcourse is partially because of the way the glass is coming through the hand-crafted iron frames. And with the light switched on they radiate a beautiful warm light creating just the right atmosphere in your entrance, your hallway, your master bedroom or perhaps on your landing or stairwell.
These midcentury Venetian pendants are perfectly rewired to the highest standard for safe and immediate usage in the USA as well and our price also includes perfect packing and even worldwide delivery from our store to your door in just 4 to 6 days.

This Midcentury Venetian pendant is not only the largest of it's kind we ever had the pleasure of offering, it also is in exceptional condition. We have completely rewired it for safe and immediate usage in the US as well and we also have cleaned all the mouth blown glass both inside and out. The truly thick and amber colored glass is perfectly and symmetrically blown into the hand-knotted metal frame and the result is an absolute joy to look at. The amber color, is not transparent. This, what we call, rustic style pendant is hand-crafted in the exact same way and it has the same design as others, but in the proces something was done to the glass which has created a non-transparent, almost sugar coated surface. It is truly beautiful and other than with the transparent ones, it does not throw shade patterns on your walls and ceiling. It actually makes this stylish Venetian rarity much 'calmer' and atmospheric.
