Vintage Postmodern Geometric Lamellar Pendant Lamp, 1980s
About the Item
Postmodern pendant lamp with elaborate construction.
a postmodern design that convinces with a clear geometry and its materiality. The lamp shows the shape of a flat, hexagonal pyramid. Six bridges run together in one central point and form the scaffolding of the lamp. The compartments between the jetties are all around with fine slats. The brass -colored slats are equipped with hooks on both sides and are hung in the holes of the bridges. The length of the respective lamella depends on the position in the scaffold. The contrast between the brass -colored lamella and the chrome of the luminaire frame is striking. Especially when switched on, the two surfaces reflect in different ways.
