19th Century Italian Carved and Painted Altar Floor Lamp on Tripod Base

About the Item

This tall antique wood floor lamp was carved in Italy, circa 1890. The elegant light stands a scrolled tripartite pedestal base ending with scrolled feet. The fluted stem is decorated with acanthus leaf motifs and embellished at the top with a wooden bobeche cup under the decorative real wax candle sleeve. The Classic Italian lamp has new wiring with a single light, a convenient on/off foot switch, and adorns the original two-tone beige and gilt patinated paint finish. The light fixture is in excellent condition and ready for use. Custom silk shade included. Measures: 13" W x 13" D x 69" H.
