Andrea Branzi 'Newton' floor lamp in black & white for Nemo.
A delightful floor lamp designed by Andrea Branzi with the structure executed in glossy black lacquer. Featuring an aluminum diffuser painted white, this design offers an exceptional mixture of direct and diffused light. The Newton lamp is characterized by a playful reference to the anecdote of the apple that fell on Newton’s head making him guess the existence of the force of gravity. Made to order with the finest quality materials and to the exacting standards by Nemo in Italy.
Founded in 1993 by Franco Cassina and Carlo Forcolini in Italy, Nemo was established to recreate the lighting pieces that best represented the "Golden Age" of Italian lighting design of the 1960s and 70s. Nemo acquired ItalianaLuce five years later, offering a line of clean, relaxed modern lighting that provided an informal counterpoint to the vintage mid-century authenticity found in Nemo's modernist line.
