Midcentury Modern Arc floor lamp designed by Gottfried or Ursula Stürzenhofecker in 1972 for Gebruder Cosack, Germany. Chrome half round globe base, cast iron counterweight inside. Chrome rod and parts. Clear acrylic ornamental adjustment screw. White lacquered globe lampshade, white painted inside. Galvanised metal E27 socket. Height: 180 cm / 71.25”--Width: 120 cm / 47.24”.Electricity: 1 bulb E27, 1 x 70 watt maximum, 110/220 volt. Any type of light bulb can be used. With the ability to adjust and direct light as desired, this floor lamp not only illuminates but also adds a touch of modern charm to any space.

Beautiful industrial design of a unique standing lamp "Argo" model, designed in 1984 for Vereinigte Werkstätten with a marble base and a streamlined aluminum shade rotating around and from top to bottom in every desirable position to enjoy the dynamic look of the design.
After studying architecture, Kurt Ziehmer founded his own design studio in Düsseldorf in 1968 and developed light objects with and for Gunther Lambert. In 1978 he received the North Rhine-Westphalian promotional award for young artists. From 1977-1981 he was a lecturer at the Düsseldorf University of Applied Sciences.
