About the Item
The CG71 Arco floor lamp was designed by Belgian designer Christophe Gevers in 1971 and is now reissued by Axis71. Typical of the design is the slim metal arch that contrasts nicely with the robust concrete base. This gives the lamp a timeless, minimalist look. The two adjustable spotlights also make the lamp highly functional. Initially Christophe Gevers made this lamp for himself and stood in his living room. He only made 2-3 extra lamps for some friends around him. Again a lamp from Christophe Gevers which has never been commercialised. The structure is a telescopic arm. The spots can not only turned up and down but also to the side. They can even move on the arm with the length of the wire. The foot is made from concrete.
