About the Item
Stilux floor Lamp in chrome. 16 lights. Milano, Italy, 1960s.
This is a really lovely piece. The lamp dates from the early 1960s. The light has eight individual movable branches. These do not full rotate and have a stopping mechanism (so the internal wire cannot break). The stem and branches are finished in brushed aluminium. In total there are 16 bulbs. The switch allows either 8 of the bulbs to be lit or all 16. The lamp is heavy and will not fall over easily.
As the photos show, the base presents some little signs of time.
