Hollywood Regency Faux Bamboo Torchiere Uplight Floor Lamp c 1940/50's

About the Item

Chic Mid Century Hollywood Regency style floor lamp, torchiere, uplight. The base features segmented wood elements, with brass spacers, an aluminum torch cup, on a wood finish metal disk form base. The shade is a stylized frosted glass dish. Circa 1950/60's, made in the USA in the style of Gerald Thurston, Lightolier etc, this example is unsigned. Good, clean, working, ready to use condition, shows minor cosmetic wear, normal and consistent with age. Newly professionally rewired, shade shows inconsequential flaws at corners - wood base also shows minor cosmetic wear, normal and consistent with age. Accepts a standard size screw in bulb. Top 17.5 x 17.5 inch Total H 65 inch Base Dia. 11 inch
