About the Item
Italian floor lamp from the 1950s with elegant brass detailing and a vibrant red lacquered stem. The sculptural rhythm of the ribbed and scalloped elements recalls the refined style of Paolo Buffa and other Italian masters of the period, giving the lamp a musical, almost lyrical quality. The deep red lacquer has aged beautifully, showing light wear that only enhances its character. Resting firmly on a solid three-legged brass base, this piece captures the classic elegance of Italian mid-century design. Shade not included but available for free on request. Requires rewiring before use, hence the price. A character piece.....
