Large ceramic pendant light with a special shape and traditional ornamentation.
this impressive lamp is a unique piece that was specially made for a summer house on langeland. An impressive object when switched on and off. The lamp body has the simple and functional basic shape of a double funnel that widens downwards and upwards. The light comes out primarily in both directions. The interior is glazed white for better reflection. In addition, the lower area of the shade has a circumferential perforation, which breaks up the homogeneous shape of the shade and throws a fine pattern of atmospheric light into the room. The rustic suspension of the lamp is striking. A braid of jute ropes bundled upwards in a metal ring.
the supply cable runs inside with strain relief. The real special feature lies in the hand-painted ornamentation of the lower shade. Floral shapes, connected with pinstripes and in a natural color scheme in green and brown.
the lamp is in very good condition and has hardly any signs of wear or patina.
