Rare Ball floor lamp from the Swiss manufacturers Temde Functional light source Consists of an arc-shaped wooden frame, into which a ball is effectively trapped The base is comprised of a fine ring of wood The imposing spherical diffuser made of plastic can be adjusted in height and rotated Diffuser is held by two slots in the frame, fixed via two large screws Official proof of authenticity such as vintage catalogs, designer records. Absolutely stunning and very rare biomorphic floor lamp by Temde Leuchten, Switzerland / Germany 1960s. The lamp base is in excellent vintage condition and the lamp is in great working order as can be seen in the pics. The lamp is fitted for two general E27 lightbulbs that can be switched on and off individually or both at the same time by the pull switch cord. The lamp will come with its original lampshade bracket so easily to reupholster again but please be aware that the fabric shown in the pics was too far gone so this will not come with the lamp. Personally we believe the lamp could also benefit form a slightly sleeker and possibly shorter lamp shade to accentuate the wonderful curvy lamp...
