Cool and beautiful floor lamp handmade by Svend Aage Holm-Sørensen in his own workshop in the 1960s. The brilliant design allows you to adjust the height simply by moving the brass rod up and down along the oakwood part of the base. The lamp is very nicely patinated and comes with a brand new shade in light flax linen. This lamp was only produced in the 1960s in very limited numbers and is therefore a rare find. Dane Svend Aage Holm-Sørensen (1913-2004) had a creative streak beyond the ordinary. He is known among vintage collectors, not least internationally, where the original lamps fetch high hammer blows at auctions. Svend Aage Holm-Sørensen drew sketches of everything.
