About the Item
An exception floor lamp designed by Henk Fillekes and manufactured by Ateliers Artiforte in the Netherlands, produced circa 1950. This very rare lamp was produced for a very short period and very few were made. These were hand assembled and Artiforte was a small workshop.
The floor switch was designed by Achile Castiglioni.
Marked at the bottom of the base.
This is a unique design, and very hard to find. The lamp is in good original condition with only minor wear from age and usage. A very important piece of post war design from the Netherlands.
This lamp is checked in our own atelier, cleaned and is suitable for use in the USA. For US usage we provide a converter plug so you can keep the piece completely original.
