The floor lamp features a sleek cone-shaped shade topped with a decorative ball finial. Its slender central post leads down to a sturdy square base, all finished in a sophisticated gray with matte brass trim accents, adding a touch of elegance. Designed to accept a standard size halogen bulb, the lamp includes its original glass disc form diffuser, ensuring a soft and pleasant light. The two matching table lamps share the same distinctive design elements. Each has a cone-shaped shade with a decorative ball finial and a slender central post that leads down to a square base, finished in the same elegant gray with matte brass trim. These table lamps also accept standard size halogen bulbs and retain their original glass disc form diffusers. George Kovacs, born in 1926 in Vienna, Austria, was a pioneering figure in modern lighting design. After moving to the United States, Kovacs opened a small lighting store in Manhattan in 1954, which eventually grew into a major influence in the lighting industry. Kovacs was known for his collaborations with other prominent designers, such as Karim Rashid and Ingo Maurer. The steel frames and bases show only minor nicks in the paint the worst of which can be seen in the detail photos provided. Each lamp includes functioning bulbs seen in photos and both switches (with both high and low light settings) work exactly as they should. *Note: The floor lamp measures W-12" x D-12" x H-53" *Note: The two table lamps measure W-8" x D-8" x H-28.5" These chic assorted lamps are functional, structurally sound and ready for decades more of use.
