Unique Prototype B.T. Floor Lamp by Studio A.R.D.I.T.I., Italy 1973

About the Item

A unique piece, the B.T. series prototype floor lamp by Duccio Trassinelli and Studio A.R.D.I.T.I. in Italy, manufactured in 1973. This fantastic lamp is one of a kind, a prototype made by studio A.R.D.I.T.I. and purchased directly from the founder Duccio Trassinelli. Made of high quality stainless still with the base in Carrara marble. These materials combine really nicely and add to the piece unique, modern style! Geometric shapes come together in a narrow arm and two element top. The double structure of the top is important to create the unique magnetic system that allows the flow of electricity to run through the lamp. The several light sources can be placed in the tops by their magnetic force. In total the piece has four light sources, containing two bulbs and a wire thread in between. Each light only works when one part is at the lower half, and one part is at the top half of the lamp. The lamp itself is the collider! The lights can be rearranged according to the users preference! See the photos for examples. All together this is an eye-catching piece that will the true centerpiece of any decor. The piece comes with a signed certificate of authenticity by the designer and a copy of the title page of the patent.
