Floor lamp of Italian origin - The Gesto terra lamp is designed by Bruno Gecchelin, produced by Skipper, Italy.
It features a white marble base, black hood and chromed tubular body. Included is a dimmer that regulates the upward light beam, thus providing an indirect light source. This lamp is a real eyecatcher for any interior.
Halogen light source with dimmer.
Origination: Italy, 1970s
Condition: Good, refer to photos. Please note the protection glass is still present, often missing. We have replaced the dimmer for safety reasons.

Floor lamp designed by Pietro Chiesa in 1933 and produced by Fontana Arte. The Luminator was for its time a groundbreaking design, and considered to be the first indirect light floor lamp in design history.
The lamp is completely built up in metal, consisting of a stem that widens into a cone. The color can be best described as a very light grey, with a hint of blue. The finish is not smooth, but has a relief to it.
Light source: E14 Screw-in halogen or incandescent bulb. Can be used on the US electric grid after a plug change (we can do this for you!).
