Stunning Vintage Holophane Flush to Ceiling Prismatic Bowl Fitting Stunning circular flush ceiling / wall light by Holophane, Made in France circa 1930. Beautiful aged brass fittings with wonderful patina holding a rare Holophane 12" Blondel Prismatic Star Cut Design Glass Bowl. The fitting is hinged making it easily removable for cleaning and maintenance once installed to the ceiling or wall. A perfect fittings for interiors that dont have the height for a hanging pendant fitting. The Glass is stamped with the Holophane makers marks and model numbers. Our lights are professionally restored and ready to install, our wooden model is life size at 6'1" to give a good idea of scale. Technical Details Bulb Type E27 Maximum Wattage 60 W Height NA Width / Diameter 350 mm Depth 150mm Material / Colour Aged Brass, Prismatic Glass Weight 3 kg When renovating our original reclaimed lighting all existing electrical parts are removed and renewed with modern electrical components. All components used are CE certified and our lights are wired & tested in line with BSEN Standards. As standard our lights come with 1m of our premium fabric three core cable to a colour of your choice unless stated otherwise in the product description. Generally, ES or BS lamp holders are used unless otherwise stated and are fully compatible with main dimmers and modern LED filament bulbs. Our lights can be wired to bespoke specifications, longer lengths, different cable types and compatibility with specialist dimming systems such as DALI can all be accommodated. Lights supplied to U.S.A and Canada are installed using UL Certified cable and lamp holders. As standard we supply round black fabric cable and E26 holders. Please note that although we use UL certified components our original reclaimed lights do not come with UL certification. Due to the antique nature of our original vintage lights, we cannot offer an official IP rating and cannot guarantee our lights for external use.
