This magnificent French mid-century ceiling fixture features an array of gracefully curved gilt metal leaves surrounding a braided border that holds a lovely, highly detailed molded glass shade that radiates the light beautifully. The shade detaches from the bottom for easy use, and the fixture has been recently rewired to accommodate two E26 Edison light bulbs (LED are advised to reduce heat build up). The rich gilt patina is original. Measuring 21 inches in diameter and 4 inches in height, this wonderful French 1960s ceiling fixture is well suited to a variety of interiors and comes with a canopy and chain, as seen in the photos. Wherever it is placed, this outstanding fixture makes a sophisticated statement. We have a pair of these fixtures available, priced individually.
