About the Item

A geourgous square flush mount light by Palwa (Palme & Walter), Germany, manufactured in midcentury, circa 1970 (late 1960 or 1970s). A gilt frame is decorated with diamond shaped cut crystal glass. The gilt surface is aged and has a matte tone. The lamp is cleaned and ready to use. It is in very good condition with minor patina on the backplate. The fixture has four sockets for small Edison screw base bulbs type E14 (max. 40W per bulb). These bulbs are available in all countries (US, UK, Europe, Asia, Canada,) for the local electricity voltage. It also can be used with an external dimmer. It can be used as ceiling or wall lamp.
