Large Flower Bud Red Polychromed Ceiling Light Fixture
About the Item
Flower Bud Shaped Light Fixture, Wrought Iron, Polychromed, Spain 1940s-1950s.
Eye-catching ceiling light in the shape of a flower bud.
Rare find.
This hand-forged iron floral ceiling light fixture is nicely constructed. Entirely made by hand, with hammered leaves surrounding the central light. It retains rests of its original gold leaf gilding and It has a nice patina showing its original polychrome finish in redish hues.
It can be used as a flush mount or as a pendant hanging from a chain at the desired height.
It will be an elegant touch placed in an entryway, bathroom or bedroom and will add a glamourous Hollywood Regency accent to any classical, modern, eclectic or midcentury decoration.
