About the Item

Eyelash sunburst light fixture in gilt iron and glass, Spain, 1950s-1960s. This flush mount or wall light features a sunburst iron backplate surrounding a central frosted glass globe lampshade. Handcrafted in hammered iron with gold leaf finishing. It has a nice and glamorous gold leaf gilding and original patina. The lampshade is made of frosted glass with textured details. It can be placed flush mounted or installed as wall sconce. Beautiful to be placed in a main room, big entry or in a large corridor but also the perfect addition to any bedroom or bathroom. Its design combines brutalist and mid-century accents so it could work in classical, Mid-century or contemporary decorations.
