Murano Round Yellow Glass and Brass Lantern Chandelier and Pendant, 1960
About the Item
Very particular, refined and elegant Murano glass lanterns, their design truly one of a kind. Unique and special colors. These are very elegant and refined objects, they can be placed in several places in the house, for example by hanging them above two bedside tables, or to give life to a long corridor.
The lantern is composed of a central stem in curved "torcion" Murano glass, of significant size and thickness, hand-blown. In the lower part of this glass stem, a matching color glass sphere has been inserted via a brass attachment; which sphere internally carries a light bulb with a small socket. A thin polished brass tube is attached to the upper part of the glass stem, which then allows it to be attached to the ceiling. Unique and original in its kind, the lantern is very elegant and refined; exhilarating in the three colors yellow, green and blue.
