What you are seeing here is an extremely rare, enameled glass pendant. This stylish and truly classy pendant is signed 'Selin' or 'Felin' or 'Gelin' and we cannot find another light by this, clearly very talented, maker anywhere else in the world. With late 19th and early 20th century lighting being one of our specialities, we can tell you that in our 30+ years of dealing in special fixtures, we have only seen fixtures of this quality and beauty by the likes of Galle and Schneider. Their fixtures were made with the exact same techniques that were used to create this antique work of art. Both the design and the colors make this unique light at least as impressive as the Galle and Schneider ones. What makes this unique light extra desirable is the original and also handcrafted and handpainted, wrought iron canopy. It is the perfect finish to this wonderful antique fixture. Apart from the perfectly matching, replacement mat black chain this one of a kind light fixture is over 100 years old and it is of such great quality and condition that it will at least be around for another 100 years. All handcrafted using quality materials only this Arts and Crafts era chandelier breathes the kind of class that early 20th century craftsman were known for. Because of the stylish floral patterns this antique work of lighting art is like an ode to mother nature herself. We 'Dutchies' have a special connection with flowers in general and with daisy flowers in particular and if this antique light fixture is not Dutch then we understand very well why it ended up here. The three brass arms and also the 'base' in which the large, cut-glass shade hangs all come with stunning and typical Arts and Crafts, embossed style elements / decorations. All the detailed and precise engravings in all the glass shades were hand-done and for all the glass shades to be in mint condition after more than 100 years, to us, is like a minor miracle. The large, handcrafted, hand-engraved and partially colored glass shade too has stylized flower motifs in it and the combination of materials makes this antique chandelier an absolute joy to look at. With as much as four sockets this relatively small chandelier can easily light up a living room or dining area of a regular-size home or apartment. Mind you, this antique light fixture will be wired to the highest standard for safe and immediate usage in the country where she will be used and enjoyed.

The six hand carved arms are like stems of flowers growing out of the base of this chandelier and the perfect (both design and condition-wise) alabaster shades are like stylized blooming flowers. Just like the six mint arms, the monumental and mint circular 'base' too is all hand-crafted and hand carved out of soilid oak and with a stunning row of large oak beads between the top and bottom section. Together with the equally unique and also handcrafted, original 'rope-chains' they are just some of the elements that make this antique extraordinary and truly a joy to own and to look at. However, to us, it is the remarkable and mint condition, hand carved owl sculpture in the middle of this chandelier that takes it to the next level.
