1960s Gino Sarfatti Metal and Seguso Glass Sconce for Arteluce. Executed in hand blown bubbled Seguso glass and painted metal. The simplicity of Sarfatti's design and the sculptural shaping of the materials make for an incredibly refined example of the lighting master's influential approach. Price is per item. One lamp available. Arteluce was one of the most innovative lighting design companies in Italy during the midcentury era. Celebrated in his time and beyond as an undisputed master, Gino Sarfatti's designs have been long sought after by collectors worldwide. Not UL listed, but recommended UL listing possible from authorized 3rd party vendor upon request for an additional fee. Accommodates a single e12 bulb. New period style custom 4.825" diameter backplate for mounting to a standard American j-box.
