About the Item
Introducing the Ligurian Collection, a sophisticated family of handmade fixtures in natural sea shell, coiled leather, marble, and bamboo, inspired by the faded splendor of the northern Italian coast.
A lighter, more flexible sequel to the verdigris-colored original, Model No. 028B consists of a terra cotta-tinted cast hydrocal-plaster base in the shape of an abalone seashell, a fluted brass column, and an adjustable green abalone shell shade with iridescent blue mother-of-pearl interior, sourced from a vintage collector.
Unlacquered-brass hardware, a nut-brown cloth-covered cord, and a chocolate brown Euro-style switch with vintage plug complete the modernist profile. Even more fully articulated at the shade than its predecessor, it's sure to inspire wonder, whether bedside in a pair or lining a corridor of your ancestral castello.
Keyhole fittings secure the base to wall-mounting hardware, which is included.
Also available in a corded version, which includes an 8-foot nut-brown cord with vintage-style plug and contrasting brown inline on/off switch. Check our other listings.
